Inno TSD, in partnership with EAI, launches a study on the residential mobility of companies in the federation of municipalities of Flandre Intérieure (referred as CCFI below), in the Hauts-de-France region. Both inno TSD and EAI teams went to Hazebrouck on February 21st, 2018 to meet with the CCFI team.
The federation of municipality was created in 2014 and has created several strategy documents to plan its economic and territorial development. Currently, the municipality is preparing its zoning. As a result, the study on the residential mobility of companies aim at strengthening the principles of the planning and economic strategies, whilst feeding the zoning decision-making process.
The study aims at analysing the supply and needs of the companies regarding their residential mobility and more specifically: real-estate (incubators, business centre…), land tenure (commercial areas and land reserves), as well as services to foster entrepreneurship, develop existing companies and attract new projects. This analysis will be put into perspective with the existing value chains of the territory.
This complete diagnosis will be based upon quantitative, qualitative and cartographic analyses. It will enable the creation of a development strategy for the supply of adequate space for companies, conceived in partnership with the local stakeholders and authorities. Priority action plans will be conceived as a roadmap to make the strategy operational.
The study will last for six months and the final results will be submitted to the CCFI in September 2018.
